RELAXED - U.S. (IMPERIAL, INCHES)

The Relaxed style is still not as generous as some of the huge shirts out on the market.

That said, we rarely see returns because it is not big enough. Some customers need this style because of particularly broad shoulders.

• Relaxed - A straight cut through the body and larger sleeves for a relaxed look. For a loose fit, the more rotund, or those extra broad in the shoulders.

Measurement Guide

Tall 6'3" or above?

Our tall pilot shirts are 2" longer through the body and the short sleeve is 1" longer making them appropriate for 6' 3"+ only. Unlike other brands, we do not skimp on shirt length.

Neck

Find your circumference, then add 1/2" for comfort ease.

Chest

Place tape measure around the chest at the nipple line, high up under the arms and over the shoulder blades in the back. The tape measure should be snug, so it does not droop down (but not tight).

The "Relaxed Cirrus" style short-sleeve shirt from A CUT ABOVE is made from their most popular fabric. Soft and comfortable combed cotton is blended with a polyester core to provide easy care without the addition of chemical finishing. This traditional mid-weight twill has a soft surface without giving up the structured feel commonly expected in a pilot shirt. Available in a number of sizes, the Cirrus Relaxed fit provides an optimal balance of durability, wrinkle-resistance, and comfort.

A proper fit, open pockets w/ a pen slot, quality fabrics and The Cool and Dry Collar will make your A Cut Above shirts the most comfortable you have ever owned.

• Cirrus - Mid-Weight 65% Polyester 35% Cotton
  The Cirrus is our most popular fabric. Soft and comforting combed cotton is blended with a polyester core to provide easy care without any chemical finishing. This traditional mid-weight twill has a soft surface without giving up the structured feel commonly expected in a pilot shirt. Available in the greatest number of sizes and fits, the Cirrus provides an optimal balance of durability, wrinkle-resistance, and comfort. Fitted Cirrus has a Flap Pocket Closure. Tapered Cirrus has an Open Pocket. Relaxed Cirrus has an Open Pocket.

• Shirt Length

  Tall or Regular? Our guidance is to only order the Tall if you are 6’3” or above. The Tall shirts have an extra 1.5” in the body and ¾” in the sleeve. Our shirts are intentionally long to remain tucked in.
