Over the years...
Our History
Hammond Aviation Limited began in the early 1990's supplying a small number of local flight schools with the supplies they needed for their students through our parent company Hammond Fuels. The Hammond name began to grow and became synonymous with quality and reliability in the flight training supplies industry in a very short time. Business continued to grow to the point where the small space available at the main office of the fuel company was no longer suitable. The decision was made to open Hammond Aviation and we opened our doors as a nationwide supplier operating from St. Mary's Ontario in 1995.
Hammond Aviation quickly outgrew that facility and moved to Breslau, Ontario into a larger warehouse as a temporary measure until the new facility could be built at the Region of Waterloo International Airport. Once completed, we moved into our new facility at Flite Line Services, the premier FBO at the airport.
Now, the airport has grown to an International one with daily flights to and from US and Canadian locations. Hammond Aviation has grown as well to become the largest wholesale supplier in Canada. Our expanded facility carries the widest selection of products from the industries leading manufactures.
